SEM Degrees of Freedom

Cortina, Green, Keeler, & Vandenberg (2017)

In this paper, we show how df can be used to discover discrepancies between actual and reported SEM models.

Spoiler Alert

Discrepancies in published papers are not uncommon, meaning that the models describe in the papers were different from those actually tested.

Computing DF

The way to avoid this problem as an author or detect it as a reviewer is to compute the df yourself. The paper directs readers to an RShiny app. The tool below does the same stuff plus a few other things.
